The Dual Disc Filter is designed for a maximum filtration area in a minimum space and high flow rates. The Dual Disc filter plates filter on both sides. Dual Disc Filters are particularly well suited for liquid filtration with a low content of solids.
Flexibility of operationAny type of filter media (filter paper, textile or metallic wire cloth, non asbestos or cellulose filter pads, etc.) can be used because of the rigid support of the permanent filter plates. Many operations permit the use of low cost disposable filter paper.
Filtration securityCentre and outside compression of all filter plates, through tierods, insures a perfect sealing of the filter media.
Totally enclosed constructionPrevents evaporation, leakage and fumes from escaping; no contamination of air. Permits clean operation.
Complete product recoveryThe scavenger plate is available as an optional feature. This scavenger plate, positioned on the filter tank bottom, filters the last part of a batch leaving practically no unfiltered hold over.
Quick change cartridgeThe application of a spare cartridge reduces filter down-time.
Jacketed filter tankOptional jacket for liquid temperature control.
High flow rateDual Disc filter plates have limited cake space in accordance with the principal application as final, protective trap filters. |
